A sharp-eyed Kenora resident was able to help police capture two people wanted in connection to a child abduction case in Edmonton.
An alert was sent out early Saturday morning after an 11-year-old girl was not returned to her mother.
Sunday night, a 33-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were found in the company of the missing girl at a Kenora restaurant.
The OPP were contacted and the two were arrested.
Edmonton Police say Andrew O’Coin and Maryanne Blanchford are now in custody, but there’s no word on charges.
The girl is safe and is said to be unharmed.
She had been dropped off Friday morning to spend the day with her father.
