Drowning Near Pikangikum

A 37-year-old man is dead after drowning in a remote Northwestern Ontario lake.
Red Lake OPP were notified that a man went missing on Berens Lake, near Pikangikum.
OPP and First Nation residents searched and located the missing man’s boat adrift, with a damaged motor.
The OPP Underwater and Recovery Unit was called in and personnel found the body in the water.
Police say Michael Dunsford accidentally drowned on Berens Lake.
