Drowning Victim Identified

The OPP Marine Unit has recovered the body of a White Dog First Nation man from the Winnipeg River.
40-year-old Braden Land was in a boat Sunday afternoon with 2 others when they experienced problems with the motor and high winds.
While attempting to deal with the motor, Land fell out of the boat and drowned.
The two other occupants were located on an island in good condition.
Witnesses confirm that the three had been drinking before going out in the boat and Land was not wearing a lifejacket.
Charges have yet to be laid.
