Drugs Seized in Far North

Wapekeka Band Security has assisted Nishnawbe-Aski Police in a major seizure of Oxycontin pills in the remote Northern community.
Peacekeeprs turned over nearly $17,000 worth of pills to Police.
An investigation led to the arrest of 48-year-old Ida Anderson who has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
