Pills Seized in Sandy Lake

Nishnawbe-Aski Police have charged a 20-year-old woman for attempting to bring prescription pills into the remote Northern community of Sandy Lake, northeast of Red Lake.
Officers seized more then 12-thousand dollars worth of Oxycontin pills.
Heather Harper of Sandy Lake faces one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
