The future looks bright for the Dryden Regional Airport.
Manager George Friesen is encouraged city council will guarantee funding so that an airport tenant can expand.
Charter air service, Hicks and Lawrence, is relocating its maintenance base from Southwestern Ontario to Dryden.
A large hangar will be built along with future plans for an office and flight training centre.
Dryden City Council has agreed to guarantee the company 300-thousand of the 900-thousand dollar project.
Construction will begin later this summer.
