Dryden Area Agricultural Study

A co-operative to assist rural Dryden landowners is being proposed to help improve the economy of the agricultural community.
Bob Wall is the President of the Kenora District Federation of Agriculture and he says times are tough and they are hoping a co-op will help stop a declining economy.
A study will be launched this summer to examine the issue.
Wall suggests that everyone should work together to get a deal on purchases and to market local commodities.
The study will make specific recommendations as to what a co-op should do in this area.
The group conducting the report will release its findings in the fall.
