Dryden Based Cloverbelt Local Food Co-Op Now In Emo

Cloverbelt Local Food Co-op’s expansion into the Rainy River district is now underway.

It has opened its first distribution hub in Emo where users of an on-line market can pick up goods without traveling to the main centre in Dryden.

Community Coordinator Anita Marcotte says it also provides area producers with an expanded market.

Marcotte says the ultimate goal is getting more consumers to sign up to the Co-op and involved in the local food production industry.

Marcotte notes there are future plans to establish other hubs in the northwest.
