dryden taxpayers will be hit with a 2-percent tax increase next year.
city staff presented the 2008 budget to council last night and
finance chair brian collins notes balancing the books was a challange.

staff and department managers have been instructed to conduct service
delivery reviews and look at improving the way the city does business.
water and sewer rates will go up 10-percent effective july first and
the city is also proposing increases in dog licenses, cemetery and child
care fees.
the budget is expected to be approved next monday.
