Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP Ken Boshcoff continues to hammer the federal Conservative Government over the forest industry crisis.
Last Friday, and then again yesterday in the house of commons, Boshcoff reminded the Tories of how many jobs have been lost in the last two weeks.
He asked why the government scrapped the 1.5 billion dollar forest industry competitive plan, but have no replacement.
In response, minister of industry spokesperson Colin Carrie said the Conservatives take the problem seriously.
Carrie said they have taken strong action to support the forestry workers and will continue to do so.
He added the ministry is working closely with all Canadian forestry leaders and they are getting the job done.
