Dryden Council is being asked to support a pilot project for a 24-hour, 7-day a week accessible taxi service in the community.
A survey and community consultations show the service is needed, especially for medical transportation.
The City would partner with a taxi company to offer the service, with provincial funding for a fully accessible vehicle.
The company would also use the vehicle as part of their normal taxi fleet.
More details will be presented Monday at the 7:00 open Council meeting.
