Dryden Councilor Asks for Feeding Ban

Nuisance deer continue to be a problem in Dryden and one Councilor believes he may have the answer to the exploding population.
Mike Wood is asking staff to draft a bylaw banning the feeding of deer and other wild animals within city limits.
Wood says other communities have drafted similar bylaws and had them work with great effect.
He says the animals are no longer afraid of anything and are causing damage to property and a hazard to traffic.
Wood appears to have the support of his peers.
