Red Lake Council has passed the 2008 Municipal budget, with taxes going
up 2.6%.
Mayor Phil Vinet says user fees won’t be going up and $5-million
has been set aside for capital work.
Vinet says money has been allocated for water and sewer projects, road upgrades as well as some residential and highway development.
He adds the Town also plans to purchase 2 fire trucks and heavy equipment and install new playground equipment in Red Lake.
