Around 76-people from Cat Lake First Nation are now safely in Dryden as they were forced from their homes from smoke from near-bye forest fires.
The evacuees started arriving at the Dryden Airport around 7:30 Monday night.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says the evacuees are staying at Dryden High School.
The City is arranging food services with the Red Cross heavily involved in the effort.
Dryden has declared a state of emergency as a result to allow for Provincial and Federal funding.
Another 140-Cat Lake residents are in Kapuskasing and 108 in Matachewan.
