Dryden Dolphins Set New Highs In Thunder Bay

The swimming season is coming to an end but the success for the Dryden Dolphins Swim team isn’t ending.

The club captured two silver and four bronze medals at a meet in Thunder Bay this past weekend.

Victoria Owen took four seconds off her 200-metre Medley for a second place finish.

Saveta Solomon, who competed in her first long course competition, grabbed a third place finish in the 100-metre backstroke event.

Teanna MacKay, Kylee Huckell and Jordan Chwaystyk also recorded personal best times.

The Dolphins will now be sending 22-swimmers to Kenora for the final short course race of the season.

Highlights:
-Jordan Chwaystyk shaved 5-seconds off her 100-metre Butterfly
-Kylee Huckell 12-seconds off her 50-metre Breaststroke
-Teanna MacKay 11-seconds off her 100-metre Freestyle
