The long DriveTest strike ends today (Monday) now that employees have voted to ratify an agreement that was forged nearly 2-weeks ago.
Employees have been off the job since August 21st, preventing many Ontario drivers from getting new licenses or having existing licenses renewed.
While DriveTest centres, including Dryden’s are scheduled to open today, the backlog of exams is expected to take months to clear.
About 100-new employees are expected to be hired to deal with the backlog.
