Dryden, Ignace and Vermilion Bay take centre stage today (Monday) as the Olympic Flame arrives.
Festivities begin in Ignace at 10 o’clock, with the Torch scheduled to arrive at around 12:30.
A ceremony will be held at 1:00 at the Rec Centre.
Dryden’s Olympic Flame celebration is slated to get going at 2 o’clock.
The Relay begins on King Street with the first torchbearer at 2:34.
The torch will make its way onto Van Horne Avenue and will travel to Van Horne Landing.
A Community Celebration will welcome the Torch at the Landing with Entertainment and the lighting of the cauldron.
The Olympic flame will then head to Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
