Ice Dogs Ringing in New Year on a Winning Note

The Dryden Ice Dogs are 2-0 to start 2010.
The Dogs escaped with a 5-4 win over the Sioux Lookout Flyers Sunday night in Dryden.
The Ice Dogs jumped out to an early 3-0 lead thanks to a pair of goals from Kyle Heck and a single from Mike Lennon.
The Flyers stormed back with 4-straight goals courtesy of Darren Turner, Colton Brule, Darnell Ferland and Dwight Lee.
Jon Mitchell responded with the equalizer before Spencer Gyori iced the contest with 1:47 remaining in regulation.
Dryden defeated Sioux Lookout 3-0 Saturday night.
In other SIJHL play Sunday, the Fort Frances Lakers surprised the K&A Wolverines 5-1.
