Dryden Eagle Junior Boys NORWOSSA Champs

The Dryden Eagle Junior Boys Volleyball team completed their perfect season in style.
The Eagles beat the Kenora Broncos in 4 sets to capture the “AA” NORWOSSA title last week in Fort Frances.
The Seniors weren’t as lucky however losing an epic 5 set battle to the Broncos.
In a back and forth defensive struggle, Dryden fell 25-20, 23-25, 25-17, 19-25 and 15-10.
In Senior Girls Basketball, the Dryden Eagles fell behind 23-8 early before bowing out to Kenora 36-21 in the Semi-Finals.
Fort Frances went on to capture the NORWOSSA crown.
The Junior Girls hammered Kenora 45-32 in the Semi’s however couldn’t get past a stong Muskie squad in the Championship game.
