The Dryden Eagle High School Hockey team finally found the offensive
touch at the Genesis Hospitality Boys Tournament in Brandon.
The Eagles rode the hot hand of Brian Montgomery who scored 3 in a
convincing 8-0 win over Sanford this afternoon.
Miles Pitchanese added 2, while Mike Makar, Dustin Harrington
and Scott Lund added singles.
Dryden will join the Kenora broncos with 2-0 records in the Division
‘A’ playdowns tomorrow with the Eagles hitting the ice at 12:00.
Sioux lookout will play on the ‘C’ side at 8:00 Saturday morning after dropping a pair of tight 4-2 loses.
Andrew Lilly and Ryan Waboose scored for the Warriors this morning.
Fort Frances finished the round-robin with a 1-1 record.
