4-people received minor injuries after a fire destroyed a Leach
Road home and all its contents this morning.
Oxdrift and Dryden Fire crews were called to the home just before
8:00 and arrived to see the structure completly engulfed in flames.
Oxdrift Fire Chief Richard Vandenbroeke says the cause is still under
investigation but they believe the blaze started in a back bedroom or in
the nearby furnace room.
16 firefighters spent more then 3 hours fighting the blaze and
amazingly kept the flames away from neighboring homes.
The occupants suffered minor burns when they attempted to put out the
fire.
