The Daniel Mac Maroons capitalized on Eagle miscues to capture a 27-14 win in High School Football Friday.
The Maroons scored on their first drive and added another before the end of the quarter to take a 13-7 lead into Half-Time.
Dryden’s major was a 7-yard run by Jhustin Czajkowski.
Daniel Mac took advantage of poor special teams play by the home squad as they recovered both an on-side punt and on-side kick which they converted into 2 more TD’s.
Shane Kirton then led a 55-yard drive into the end zone for the Eagle as he chipped in with a 35-yard-run and a 5-yard pass to Czajkowski.
Caine Benham had 10-tackles for Dryden, while Patrick Wall added 7-tackles.
Tanner Russell recorded an interception and added 5-tackles.
On the offensive side of the ball, Jeremy Euyler ran 10-times for 53-yards and Derek Maltais had a catch for 35-yards.
The Eagles are 0-2 and are back on home field next Friday against St. John’s.
