Dryden Eagles In Brampton Over The Weekend

The DHS Eagles Cross Country Running team had 17 Eagles travel to the Ontario Provincial Championships (OFSAA) in Brampton on Saturday. There were 1,700 competitors from the very best teams in the province. The Dryden Highschool Midget Boys took 22nd team overall and recorded the best performance of any A or AA midget team in the province. The Midget team consisted of Alex Palmer, Treven Ouellet, Jacob Benson, Alex Urquhart and Sean Wood.
In almost any other high school sport that separates schools by enrolment, they’d be sporting shiny gold OFSAA medals and would be considered AA OFSAA champs.
