A sweep for the Dryden Eagles High School Hockey teams Wednesday.
The ‘Blue and Gold’ hosted the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.
The Boys posted a 4-2 win with Reidar Paquette, Jayden Lyle, Ethan Raine and Saige Cloutier finding the back of the net.
In goal was Brayden Larson and he was sensational making 42 saves.
The Eagles Girls also defeated the Saints with a 2-1 overtime victory.
Thomas Aquinas led most of the game but Sophie Armit deflected a point shot in with just over 2 minutes remaining to tie.
In extra time, Saige McLeod pulled away but was stopped on a breakaway but Armit was there to bang in the rebound for the Dryden victory.
Sydney Cloutier was solid and earned the win.
