Dryden Fire #79 Under Control

Dryden fire 79, southwest of Vermilion Bay is finally under control.
The fire that had grown to 2,400 hectares in size was sparked by
lightning in mid-July.
Operations Supervisor Fred Hampton says the blaze quickly became the
top priority for the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Personnel continue to comb the area for hot spots.
The basecamp set-up at the Vermilion Bay Airport has been removed.
