A team of Dryden Fire Fighters has advanced to the National Fire Fighters Curling Playdowsn
The Dryden Fire Service team of Skip Charlie Salina, Third Brent Jensson, Second Leo Langlais, Lead Paul Langlais, and along with Director Dan Jackson, will be representing Northern Ontario and heading off to the Canadian Fire Fighters 52nd Annual Curling Championships March 31 to April 9th, 2011, hosted by the Alberta and Calgary firefighters curling associations.
The Dryden rink won a ten end battle over the four time Provincial champs from the Oliver Paipoonge (Pah-Poonj) Fire Department team this weekend at the Northern Ontario Playdowns.
