As we make our way back into barbecue season, the Dryden Fire Service has some safety tips.
The Fire Service advises residents to check their manufacturer’s instruction book before starting up the grill.
Fire Chief Ken Kurz says routine inspections are necessary as barbeque enthusiasts need to ensure their grill is clean and the hoses are tight and clear of debris.
Kurz says you should always keep an eye on the barbeque when cooking and make sure its stationed well away from buildings and garages.
