Dryden Fire Service Marking Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week

This is Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week.
The public awareness campaign runs all week long.
Dryden Fire Chief Ken Kurz says working alarms are now required by law on every floor of a home that has a bedroom.
Kurz says carbon monoxide poisoning is known as the “silent killer”.
He notes well over 50-people a year in Ontario succumb to carbon monoxide poisoning.
