Dryden Firefighters Win Northern Ontario Championship

The Dryden Fire Service will be represented at the 55th Annual Canadian Firefighters Curling championship.
The Cam McMillan rink captured the Northern Ontario Firefighter Curling title on the weekend in Thunder Bay.
McMillan, Barry Lynch, Keith Apland and John Popien defeated the Zechner rink from Nipigon in an extra end battle.
Zechner is a 6 time Northern Ontario champion and the 2012 National champion.
Apland and Popien have represented Northern Ontario 7 times at nationals.
This is the second trip for McMillan and first for Lynch.
The Canadian championship starts March 28th in Winnipeg.
