Dryden Food Bank In Need Of Donations

This is a time of helping others and the Dryden Food Bank is looking for your generosity.

The Food Bank is seeking food and monetary donations to help the most vulnerable during the COVID-19 health crisis.

Manager Al Huckabay says “Our greatest need right now is canned vegetables. We are really running short, in fact we don’t have any on the shelf right now, any kind of canned vegetables like corn, canned peas, canned green beans.”

To arrange a drop-off you are asked to contact the Food Bank at 223-3881 to make arrangements as visitor restrictions are in place.

Huckabay is also encouraging the public to purchase an extra non-perishable food time at the grocery store and drop the product in the bins set up at the stores for donations to the food bank.

He notes monetary donations are being accepted at http://www.drydenfoodbank.org
