Dryden GM Opens Training Camp

A new junior hockey season begins Friday for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.

The two time defending champions are holding Training Camp at the Memorial Arena.

Coach Kurt Walsten says roughly 40 players are attending camp this year.

Walsten says today will be all about getting used to the rink and the ice, noting he won’t be pushing them very hard in the first session.

However, after that Walsten says he will be challenging them.

He says he will be paying close attention to compete level and paying attention to detail the next couple of days.
