The search for a new Chief Administrative Officer in Dryden is over.
The City has hired Andre Larabie.
Larabie is from Ottawa and has over 36-years of experience in management and finance in the government and private sectors.
Larabie comes to Dryden from the Nunavut Territory where he served as the Senior Administrative Officer for four years.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says he was impressed with Larabie during the interview process.
Nuttall calls him a true leader and someone who won’t sit back and push papers.
He adds Dryden needs someone to come in and take hold of the municipality.
Larabie also has military experience and his first official day on the job will be next Monday.
