The Dryden Regional Health Centre now has a policy in place to deal with any potential Ebola outbreak.
Mary Jane Kruger says patients visiting the emergency room will be asked several questions upon their arrival.
Kruger says patients will be asked about their travel history and whether or not they feel feverish.
If any red flags are raised, staff will don the appropriate personal protection gear and bring the patient to a negative pressure room where they will stay.
The hospital is also training staff on new Ebola procedures as well as equipment.
The move comes from provincial direction.
