The theft of wood from active logging areas is hurting Dryden.
Dryden Forest Management General Manager David Legg says loggers have been spending money and energy to cut trees and now they aren’t able to get paid for their work.
Legg stresses it hurts them financially.
The thefts have been happening all over town.
Legg says there is a map on the MNR’s website of where active logging operations take place.
