The Dryden Regional Health Centre is losing a well known member of its team.
After over 33 years of service, Dr. Karen Mazurski is retiring.
Vice President of Corporate Services Rob Van Oort says Dr. Mazurski has dedicated her time to provide first rate care in the oncology unit where she has helped numerous cancer patients through difficult times.
Van Oort calls her a leader and an exceptional doctor.
He says her caring and compassionate manner towards patients will forever be her trademark.
The hospital will be having a celebration for Dr. Mazurski on September 25th.
