Dryden Hosting NOACC Conference

Business leaders and organizations from all over the region are in Dryden this weekend.
The Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce is holding its spring Annual General Meeting starting tonight at the Best Western.
President Andy Scribilo says there’s lots happening over the three-day conference.
Scribilo says the 2013 NOACC budget will be presented and the election of officers will be held.
He says delegates will talk about issues impacting their community and notes resolutions will be drafted for the upcoming Ontario Chamber meeting.
Guest speakers include Wade Petranik from the Dryden Hospital, MPP Sarah Campbell as well as Bruce Strapp from the Northern Heritage Fund.
An update will also be provided on the local labour market plan in northwestern Ontario
30-delegates are expected to attend and the public is invited.
