Dryden Huskies Novice Girls Team Win Gold

The Dryden Huskies Novice Girls Hockey team won Gold at the 23rd Annual Larry Bowen Memorial Tournament in Kenora on the weekend.

The Huskies went 4-0 in round robin play, defeating the St. Vital Chill, Kenora Blue Lightning, Kenora Red Dogs and Kenora Avalanche.

Dryden defeated the Stonewall, Man. Blues 7-6 in overtime in the championship game.

Chelsea Oltsher scored the winning goal on a pass from Lindy Gardner.

The Huskies were also led by Drew Bachynski and Alexa Houtz as well as Scarlett Lappage.
