It’s no longer safe to use the ice road in Dryden.
A closed sign is now posted at Government Dock, warning motorists to refrain from using the road.
A quick thaw has resulted in unstable ice conditions and police are warning the public to stay off the ice and be careful along the shoreline.
The warning follows recent cases of two vehicles going through the ice in the Kenora area.
