Dryden Council has approved non-resident user fees for all recreational facilities.
Non-residents will now have an added 25% fee charged on all rates.
Community and Development Services Manager Bob Cunningham says they are following the same model used in Fort Frances for a number of years.
Cunningham believes it’s the most appropriate model for our area.
Non-resident user fees were a key recommendation in the KPMG report.
Cunningham believes the fee will bring in an extra $44,000 annually.
