Dryden Kids Becoming Young Entrepreneurs

Developing innovative ideas at a very young age.
Dave Lyle is the Youth Entrepreneurship Director for Patricia Area Community Endeavours and he’s launched the ‘Kids Inventing Toys’ program in Dryden.
Lyle says the program shows kids how to make a toy and how to make it their own.
He’s hoping to get kids interested in business development, creativity and inventions.
Lyle says by using entrepreneurship skills early on, it shows kids that they create some great here in northwestern Ontario.
He decided to run the 6-week after-school program after a very successful summer program in 2013.
The project is funded by FedNor and the Dryden Public Library is a major partner.
