Dryden Legion Preparing To Remember Important Anniversary

Remembrance Day ceremonies will carry some extra importance for all of us this year.

This is the 100th Anniversary commemorating the signing of the Armistice to end the First World War.

Dryden Legion Poppy Chair Brian Buffett says Canada entered the war as a British colony and exited as a country viewed by our allies across the world as a country into themselves.

Poppies are now available at a number of locations across the region.

Buffett was featured in Northwest Monitor Sunday morning on CKDR.
