Lakehead University political science professor Laure Paquette warns two party leaders have a lot of work to do before the 2019 election.
She says federal campaigns are starting to ramp-up.
Paquette feels the Conservatives have to get Canadians more familiar with their leader Andrew Scheer, claiming no one knows who he is.
She adds the NDP is sitting on pins and needles as Jagmeet Singh still doesn’t have a seat in the House of Commons.
No date has been set for a by-election in his riding.
