Council could be taking an in depth look at the Dryden Fire Service.
Norm Bush brought forward a notice of motion Monday to conduct an independent review of all aspects of the service.
Councillors will discuss the issue next week.
No specifics were given but the review, if approved, would be initiated by the Interim CAO through the Ontario office of the Fire Marshall.
Fire Chief Ken Kurz has warned Council in the past they don’t have the proper personnel and resources to effectively protect the City.
