Dryden Deputy Mayor Martin MacKinnon says there’s a huge hole to fill at the Council table.
It was announced Monday night that Ken Moss plans to step aside on October 31st.
MacKinnon he was sadned to hear the news, noting he will miss his knowledge and his opinions.
He says Moss did a lot for the community over the last five years and helped the City in restructuring efforts.
MacKinnon doesn’t believe it’s a setback, noting people have to make the decisions that benefit them the most.
He says it was a personal decision for Moss and he respects that decision.
Council met behind close doors to discuss the next step in replacing Moss.
One option is going back to the results of the last municipal election.
Darryl Skinner was the first runner-up for a seat on Council.
