A former co-owner of a Richan Road trailer park in Dryden is facing a hefty fine for breaking provincial safe drinking water rules.
The Ministry of Environment says Russell Wesley has pleaded guilty to five offences and has been fined $25,000, plus a $6,250 victim surcharge.
He was charged for failing to comply with a court order, failing to maintain proper records and failing to maintain a system in a fit state of repair, contrary to the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Wesley was first charged and convicted in 2014 and subsequent investigations resulted in additional charges.
