The City of Dryden is hoping the Mayor of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls
is bluffing.
Jerry O’Leary has stated he is looking at leaving the Kenora District
Services Board for the Rainy River Board because he’s upset with the way
municipalities are assessed for social ervices.
Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky doesn’t want the Township to leave.
Krassilowsky is concerned that remaining communities would have to
shell out more money if Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls switches Boards
However, KSDB figures show Municipalities stand to pay 0.26%
less if Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls leaves.
