The Mayor of Dryden is ready to get down to business in 2019.
Greg Wilson says it will be a busy and eventful year ahead.
Wilson says he looks forward to getting out of major debt repayment obligations and drafting a new Master Plan.
He stresses another priority will be re-branding Dryden to present it as a more attractive and vibrant community.
Wilson adds they have new managers across the organization, bringing fresh ideas, new experiences and different skill sets to Dryden and he’s excited to see what they can do.
Wilson also wants to make significant headway in repairing City streets, sidewalks and other infrastructure.
He says he would like to focus on growing the City economy in 2019.
Wilson says one area to look at includes waterfront development at the end of Van Horne Avenue.
He says other options include downtown revitalization and a Market Square in the downtown core.
