The Dryden and District Museum is honouring our veterans with their latest exhibit ‘Service and Sacrifice’.
Cultural and Tourism Coordinator Bethany Waite says it’s “the story of Dryden’s contribution during the war time in the 20th century. So it covers the First World War, Second World War and touches on Korea, Vietnam and then we talk about the importance of remembrance and commemoration.”
Waite says you can find profiles of people who served in the area, artifacts and uniforms.
She adds the Museum is encouraging residents to come in and share stories of local veterans who served during any war time.
Although the exhibit isn’t open today (Monday) for Remembrance Day, it will be at the museum until January 24th.
