A number of local hockey players continue to play a big part of the early success of the Kenora ‘AAA’ Midget Thistles.
The Thistles defeated the Winnipeg Thrashers 7-1 Sunday.
Dryden’s Ben Hackl recorded a goal and two assists for the Thistles.
Dylan Winsor, who played with Hackl with the Dryden Paperkings had a goal and an assist.
Former Dryden Eagle Sam Brunton picked up an assist.
The Thistles sit with a 4-2-1 record.
