Dryden Police Investigating Multiple Thefts In Community

The Dryden Police Service are reporting multiple incidents in the city yesterday.

Police say on Wednesday they received a report just after midnight of a break and enter in progress at a garage on Pitt Avenue.

Police then say as they arrived the homeowner had apprehended one of the accused and the second accused had fled the scene.

After investigations, charges have been laid against a 17-year-old and 15-year-old youth.

Dryden Police also say in another incident they received a report of stolen patio furniture from a home on Wilde Street.

Police say it is suspected that the furniture was taken sometime overnight on Tuesday.
